A person who knows and is aware that he knows, is wise, follow him; A person who knows but is not aware that he knows, remind him; A person who doesn't know and is aware that he doesn't know, teach him; A person who doesn't know and pretends to know, is fool, leave him

Bless me in my undertakings Dear God, grant me victory and I shall shout your blessings for all to hear of your power!

ICT in Education: Is it a solution?

ICT is becoming the most popular thing in education now days. Every conner of the world is talking about ICT. Computer experts and sallers are now days becoming quit important people all over the world. But why ICT? What is wrong with our traditional teaching methods. How if computer knowledge was to be studied in the same way as students study Biology? Why is it so important that teachers should use it in instruction?
Its amazing! while the invention of computer technology is coming up all hopes of improved instruction which is aided by technology the performance rate of students in schools especially in science subjects is becoming low. Who to be blamed, the technology, the users, the students or the researcher?
What was the problem with the traditional teaching methods of chalk, talk and textbook?
